Is Luck Enough for Success? Exploring Your Influence

Success

Let us define success as the ability to reach your goals, whatever those goals are. Success, then, is seen here as a process, a journey, more than a destination. In that sense, luck helps, but it is not enough.

When we talk about luck, we talk about random things that happen to us. These are events we do not choose.. We don’t pick our family or the country where we are born. Once these things have happened to you, the way you take them is not luck. The way you deal with them is a choice.

An example. You have an exam tomorrow, and suddenly there is an energy cut. You were studying and couldn’t continue rereading your notes, so you went to bed. That is bad luck. Another possibilities, leave go to a cafe, and continue studying. When something random impacts me, I work on not letting it negatively affect me. and trying to find a way out. As I said before, there is control over what I do with what has happened, not what has happened.

Lucky charms

Of course, I love luck, but I don’t let it lead my life. I don’t let myself depend totally on luck or external situations. When it comes, I use it to empower myself. Some people believe in lucky charms, think they help their luck with red bonds, four leaves clover, horseshoe, etc., who knows… If you believe in them, use them, use them. No harm.

I love to be free. So, I don’t want to rely on something external to succeed . I love working on the process of being the master of my mind. If I get this, luck better. If not ,it will just the battle harder Battles are won or lost in my own mind.

Am I a lucky person?

Well. What is luck? Luck is something random that happens completely out of your control. Luck happens as well as, “shit happens” (excuse my French).so ,yes and no.Sometimes I am lucky and sometimes I am just not.

People who believe in luck describe themselves as either lucky or unlucky as if luck were something stable. The issue with luck is that it is unpredictable. You can’t define yourself as a lucky person. You can say, and that is the clue, that you have been capable of using every single chance of luck. Life has given you these opportunities. In that case, you can say you have been lucky.

You can even see yourself as lucky. This is possible if you can master your mind to create situations. In doing so, you can increase your possibilities of succeeding. If you think of luck as an attribution, it’s a decision. We decide the cause of a random event that has happened to us. What we do with this circumstance is no luck; it is a choice and depends on you.

When we try to understand what caused certain success in our lives, we sometimes attribute it to luck. We reduce it to that uncontrolled random situation. We then dismiss our effort, skill, and persistence. These elements have provided the chance to happen. They also have given us the mindset to take advantage of it. Explaining your success as an effect of luck works in certain situations. It does not work in all scenarios. Luck alone is not the reason people succeed.

What does it take to succeed?

Over these years, I attended a significant number of clients. I found out you can’t reduce success to one single thing. Success involves many traits. These include luck, talent, passion, perseverance, imagination, intellectual curiosity, and emotional intelligence.

Luck alone is not enough to succeed in any way. You also need to be open to seeing the possibility. Emphasize the process and hard work. I am sure that approach will lead to success in whatever you choose to engage.
